i am thinking of getting a r/t for my 98 custom and i dont know if i need a hopper. i am on a budget so like only a kinda cheap hopper like less than $60. and whats the cheapest hopper that gets atleast 12bps? thx

Yes, you need one.
That said, used Eggy's run about $40, and Revvys go for about $20. Either one will work fine. |

Yeah. I'd like to know where you can get an eggy for that price. Yes if you get a rt an electric hopper is needed so your feed rate can keep up with the rate your gun is firing.

a rico ak wrks fine there cheap. i got an rico apache that wrks great too.
but most ple say get a bttr hopper that u can get an x-board or rip for later if u decide to get an btr gun then wat u have know so u wou;d be set wit an hopper already |

The revvy is good to feed about 10-15 bps. It can keep up with the rt as long as you don't go crazy and turn it up so it feeds like 19 bps. who needs to put out that much paint anyways?

Its nice to have an E hopper no matter if your gun requires it or not. I used to find myself having to shake my gun during games because the balls would bunch up around the feeder. Got a VL2000 and never had that happen when it mattered again.

A Revy with x-board will load about 12-14bps. Perfect for the average RT. The Halo TSA is also great and slightly faster. A step up from the two would be the VL Evolution II. It loads up to 19bps, and can be found pretty cheap.
