I'd go for a 1 piece. My 14'' J&J is great for the price but it is your decision. Anything over 14" is just crazy. You don't need that long a barrel.

You dont need all 3 barrel sizes, just pick 1 size, and buy the 1 piece.

I own a "freak" barrell kit and it is well worth the money. Using a one piece barrel with only one bore size will drastically change ball flight. Every case of paint is different. If you can afford the kit then buy it. The other advantage to buying the two-piece is if you ever change guns, you only have to replace the backs.

So most of you say one piece and one says kit. I have one more ? about
the kit how do oyu know what back to put on the gun for the case you buy. If i go 1 piece I was think 14". I play wood s and junkyard ball with some inside stuff every now and then. I knwo people say longer barels do not give you better acuresy but dont they give you a great reach and are alot quiter. The reason I want more then one langth is I play in soe places were a 14" would get in the way and other places were I think the 14" would give me a great advantage. Im a sniper. i have a 14" j&j ceramic and don't have any complaints calling yourself a sniper is only going to get you flamed on this forum i've tried the sniper thing too there is no gun or barrel that gives you "sniper" accuracy, paint balls just don't shoot far or accurate enough to "snipe" with them. your welcome to keep talking sniper but concider yourself warned!

Well sniping is different in paintball then what most you think as sniping.
When I say sniping that is have skill to move around by your self and flank or trap people with stelth at fair distences. Not the one shot one kill thing not practical with a ball that has no chance of getting past 100ft with any accuracy. sniing in paintball is different I know that but the langth dose mater when you dont want to be heard so much. hankyou for the warning on the flaming but you would think that people that play paintball know that there is an art to "sniping" with paintball, and is not anything like with a real gun. Back to ther real subject 2 one pices or the kit? Thankyou all for helping(those that did) Edited by Giblin |
