just curious, what is different about the inside of the 98 pro's grip that allows only it to accept the e grip and not the 98 custom. I have opened up both guns before, and i havent noticed any difference at all about between the 98 pro's grip and the 98 customs. Thanks! |

The CP grip uses a board similar to the A-5's e-grip- it has holes for the mode and ROF switches and grooves cut in for the solenoid and capacitor. The 98C does not have any of this- it's just mainly flat metal with space for the R/T. Lookup a thread called 98C sear tripper.
