I just installed my GTA LPK on my new pro e it has about 2000 balls through her before this mod. i added a palmer regulator,RD blade trigger, pen spring mod, polished internals, macro line kit, when i gas it up with a full crossfire 92/4500 high pressure tank it keeps cycling when i pull the trigger the first time??? it kinda sounds like a response trigger when its out of gas? if i turn the pressure up on the reg to like 450-475 its fires and cycles fine? tippmann emailed me saying the LPK should run fine at 350-375 but i cant get the pressure that low? anyone else have these problems? any ideas? any help?

Could be a leak somewhere. Also, take out any home done mods and make sure thats not it. It shouldn't make a difference, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Unless you took off too much metal when polishing internals.

i polish the crap out of my internals and mine functions fine and i've had mine as low as 200 psi no joke. if your just shooting air that might be the problem as well because it needs back pressure to push the bolt back. if you haven't yet , put some paint through it.

Maybe your reg cant handle you high output tank when you drop it that low.

the only homemade mod is the trigger pen spring. all else in marker is brand new? i have a palmer fatty LPR adjusted to 450 and it shoots fine. but i think it should be lower? tippmanns email also states that i need a high pressure tank to my low pressure reg? like i have.my local pro shop said it felt like the bolt was binding slightly in the power tube. when he adjusted it he could only get it too 550 to work? i took it apart sanded the tube got rid of all paint and burrs around where tube sat. then i got it down to 450 so i will shoot some paint through it today and see if it helps. palmer said about 2000 paintballs to break in spring assembly? will keep u guys posted.
thanks tim |
