Well, since im a big fan of carbines and prolites and the way the foregrip feels i wanted to make one for my 98. So here is my 98 with the unfinished foregrip. Its made out of a real m16 foregrip, and i like it because it doesnt look like anyone elses. It still needs to be painted and a little other work. And before you say get a stock, let me tell you that i love the way stocks look on paintball guns but i have never liked the ingame feel of a stock, the tank shoulders perfectly without goofin up my mask. So anyways...

What i need to know is what i should do with my rail system. I could put it on the top of the 98 and mount my red dot, but my red dot already mounts fine. Or i could cut the rail in have and drill out 2 holes in each half and mount it to my new foregrip i made. Any other ideas or opinions would be great!

Oh and here is my rail im talkin about...

my vote goes to keeping the rail up top. if you like the feel of the red dot now, it might seem a little far off when its an extra foot or foot and a half away. just like with your stock situation, you do what feels comfortable. and if your confortable with where the rail and sight are now, why change it?
A5, egrip, cp barrel kit, check it asa, etc

That is the best rail! I am glad you did not pick up the m16 syle rail. I agree about the stock as well. I use 12oz tanks because i find the make great stocks. I just put a but plate on them. I find a 20oz to thick to be used as a stock. It's looking real good very original.

Very cool looking gun. What kind of BiPod is that? I'd keep the sight where it's at.

Good to see you're back.
