How do you do it?  I got the valve out of the power tube easily enough.  I need to see if the O-Rings are bad on it or if it is the spring.  It has a slow leak on it that needs fixed..and I am not inclined to pay $30 for the entire thing when it is likely to be just a busted O-Ring.

I see a ring or something at the top that looks like it might be holding everything in...but I am not sure how to get it out without breaking anything.

at the top(maybe bottom end) the side opposite of the lil push thing(yes i know this sounds crazy but nya) on the side, there is liek an indent, and you see something brass in color, there is a little ring, kinda like a c-clip that you need to get out before you get the internals out
i tryed it a looooooong time ago and had no luck...good luck :)

First, put on a pair of safety glasses.

Take a pencil with an eraser as your pusher stick. Push the brass end plug, the one held in place with the circle clip, down into the valve body until you can see it through the feed line hole. Stick a small allen wrench through the hole on the top side of the brass plug, then you can remove the pencil...slowly.

With a good light find the end of the circle clip (it is not a "C" clip) and gently pry it out of the groove. I find a small pocket knife blade works best. As you get it out if the groove slide the blade under the end you have free'd and gently wind it out of the groove.

After the circle clip is out, again depress the brass plug with the pencil and remove the allen wrench. Gently release pressure then shake the internal parts out...over a towel covered table. The "O" ring which seals the edge of the plug is not likely leaking. THe pin plunger that comes out after the spring has a rubber seal on the underneath side of the "head". This is usually the place that is leaking.

Be aware that leaks are probably caused by trash getting between the pin valve's rubber seal and its seat, not because the rubber seal itself has gone bad. I have disassembled several valves only to have them leak when re-assembled. I clean the valve by connecting the CO2 line then depressing the pin with a small wooden dowel and hold it down for 2 or 3 seconds so gas really blows through the valve. Most times I have found this fixes a leaky valve. Remember the safety glasses.
