I have a tippmann 98c and i just put a Lapco Bigshot barrel on it.  When I put the barrel on it and shoot it the ball goes about 7 yards and then just drops.  What is wrong with my barrel or gun.  Please help me.

Check velocity

Check air supply

Check that o-rings are lubed.

Thats a pretty good start.

Are you running your gun on full air/CO2? Is your gun fully cocked BEFORE gassing it up?
Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

for starters its not your barrel, i had this problem with mine once , at first i thought it was co2 but then they were full so i just took my gun apart, oiled it, and put it back together...worked fine...never quite put my finger on what it was tho

do u have a full tank of co2?check that and check ur velocity, if its too high it goes off in directions. and try ur paint to bore match.just roll a paintball down ur barrel and u want to make sure it catches once, and u are able to push it out with ur finger.it should catch at least once. good luck

Let us know how it goes.

Most of the time when things like this happens it just needs a good cleaning.

That shouldn't have anything to do with your barrel. Check your c02, velocity, etc.

Try replacing the barrel with your old one. If it works then your Lapco Bigshot Barrel has a problem and if still didn't work, the gun or the air might be the problem.
I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.
