I considered the Q-Loader after I switched to the E-Bolt. I found a guy at the paintball field who was using one and first asked him how he liked it. He looked at the 98C and said don't worry about it until you get a GOOD gun. Handed him the Tippmann with the E-Bolt and the Halo B and it blew his mind. He then talked extensively about the qualities and limitations of the Q. First off as the literature says hints and the PBREVIEW.COM reviewers say, it is slow to load. You are not going to dash off the field between speedball gmes and fill the hopper. The $25 pods are the "hoppers." If you are contemplating the Q you are probably aware that the internal spring has to be retracted for fresh paint can be inserted...one ball at a time.

It isn't as if you could just pre-load 10 or 12 hopper/pods before the paintball session when each costs so much. And each holds only 100 rounds of paint. It is the fastest hopper around but that is not a lot of good with only 100 rounds to each reload (and you certainly don't want to throw those fancy spring wound pods on the ground when empty). I looked and listened and decided that the Halo B was the right choice for me. 'Course, I'm playing speedball and you are talking woodsball. You may be very happy with it!
