It doesn't cost $30. It is about $15-$20. The great thing about the rocket cock 2 is that it is easy to install. Just put it over the cocking slot and put in two screws. The rocket cock will make the gun so there are no moving parts on the outside, nothing that can hit you in the face when you are trying to aim. It keeps the dirt and paint out of your bolt. If your bolt gets hit with a paintball, you may spend an hour cleaning it out. Some people also claim that it makes your gun a lot more quiet. Here is a picture:

Why got with the first rocket cock? The rocket cock II is a lot more easy to install on your gun, no need to open up the gun. I don't think the new one is that big...it does its job, doesn't it?

I liked the Ballistic Sports Spee-T Cocker. I'd give you a link, but it appears the company is no longer in business.
I like the T handle better than the ring. |

rocket cocks are wourth it and they are only 15-20$. they keep crap out of your gun and make it a little quieter. you also dont have to worry about getting hit by your kocking nob.

the rocket cock sucks. got one once and it was too small, my bolt kept hitting it and uncocking the gun. bought a BS speeTcocker at a tippmann tent at hell survivors and it worked 200 times better, also made of aluminum so was a plus over that plastic thing.
