I have a friend that would sell me his used a-5 (about a year old) for around $110 and i was wondering if i should get that or get a new ion for the extra money

by the way i would probably be doing speedball

110$ for an a5 is good, only 1 year, i would get that, and with extra money get a jcs trigger  w/  an e-grip and new barrel if he hasn't already gotton one for it, and you should be fine in speedball.

I would get the A-5 for sure. That is really cheap, and leaves you enough extra money to upgrade it.

Cheap A-5.  I'd say go for that and upgrade it for speedball.  Is it a STOCK A-5?(no upgrades)

You could buy that A-5 for $110 and then sell it on ebay for even more. Then with the money you made you can save up and buy an ion! Or you could just keep the A-5 and upgrade it.

Good idea.  Sell it on ebay for more.  Just set the reserve high.  If you get that, awesome. If you don't, just keep it and upgrade it.

A-5's aren't exactly great for speedball, the cyclone gets in the way when you come out the right side so you can't aim.

sry that i wasnt here my comp was being retarded...

it has no upgrades on it so i would need a new barrel and i would be back man so i would need something with range and accuracy and im probably gonna try out the a-5 a few times to see if the cyclone is a problem or not

Just tell him that you decided it wasn't what you wanted.  If you don't want to hurt his feelings or whatever, get an Ion for back man.  Try to get up there in the action, though.

Yeah, I understand that. I have had the same thing happen to me when I sold something to my friend and they sold it for even more money. I was mad at him for doing it.

1. The sniper barrel sucks.

2. The barrel won't fit.

Ions are good for speedball. Even though that is a great price for the A-5, they aren't the best speedball guns.

  more like awesome for speedball, to get the smae sstlye of play you would need to drop 800 bucks on a shocker, the ion is  great eing so small you have a crazy small profile, and its lighter than most guns
