I'm fine with it. If people are buying them, why not make more?

I think they will lose money, 7/8ths of the money they make comes from the M98c entry level makers, there are way to many high end marker companies now.

Tippmann really hasn't come out with any high level markers yet. The
Custom Pro is still an entry level marker even if they are electronic. I'm sure they won't abandon making entry level markers because its their staple of income right now. I would however like to see a Tippmann high level marker come out... |

Key word, A high-end, they need the entry-level to stay alive, and to be kickass company, but an additional line of markers in high-end would be cool. |

Does John Deere make automobiles? Tippmann's mark is entry level markers, and the A-5 outshined this mark by sheer accident and can be put near high-end guns. The move to electro is definitely needed- otherwise Tippmanns would soon be nothing but rental. I do, however, like their resistance to it (Cyclone feed). Most people cannot truly define a high-end gun. Most say Tippmanns can't reach a high bps (25- R/T's are banned not because they think it's dumb but because it's too fast), others say the trigger pull is like pulling a car (many many trigger mods and aftermarkets, E-triggers). The cannon blast a Tippmann makes can be remedied by the LPK (of course too many n00bs think the cannon blast is Teh Aww-somz) and a good barrel. There isn't really much difference- many will even consider Spyders as tourney level. The only difference there is between high-end markers and Tippmans- tourneys guns are anodized with bright shiny colors, Tippmans are black or silver. Because even paintball pros know the color of the gun is everything. Anyway, Tippmann guns are more classified as versatile. You buy the stock gun for your use or as a (reliable) rental equipment for a field, or you can buy all the upgrades and aftermarkets to make it tourney level. Entry to high-end. BTW, check out pictures of tourneys in paintball mags- just about every high-end gun you see has busted paint in the barrel. Edited by LordJovian |

How many people would really buy a tippmann high end gun if they did make one. Really? If they made anything over $500 nobody would get one because they would say for that much you could get a used angel or dye or something else. Thats why they wont make one. |

I think, people who jhave invented/ modified their guns to make them amazing....such as natural newbie from model98.net should sell their designs to the company, so they can make upgrades like theirs availible to the public so we can actually see a few more high end tippmanns out there

if i'm not mistaken NN did talk with tippmann (one of the owners) and they didn't seem to be interested. (NN even offered all his prints and info for his super gun to "NCC" and told them they could make and sell a conversion kit, and he didn't want anything in return, but i think it was going to cost to much for them to tool up to do it!!) i'm sure tippmann has enough super guns they have experimented with that they could put out a very good speedball marker if they wanted to, but why should they. it's not like there not selling enough markers now. wait til this fall - maybe at tippmann verus the world and see what they have!!! |

I'm making mine into one, I'll sell it to you for a million kabillion kajillion dolla... Bu, seriously, I wish they would make one, and make all 98c parts compatible with it except for a certain few that would have to be changed like the vertical adapter, I would rather have i a 90* vert adapter, and so on...
