I'm sorry, but handing in a 2 weeks notice is a rush within its
self.... i recently quit my Gas Station Job, and Since I pulled my
weight good enough this summer for our fireworks stand there allowing
me to stay threw the winter going to our Warehouse in Salt Lake City.
Anyways. I didn't "Hate" my old job, its just that the warehouse seemed like a much better idea... So when I handed in my little letter discussing why I quit my old boss's eyes just dialated like crazy, and he tolled me to meet in his office. While were in there he's almost begging me to stay... stuff like "if its the pay you hate we can raise it." but it isn't nothing like that I've been there for over 2 years.... its time to move on... I played there little game long enough... mainly why I quite is that my Boss's would bet on my work, and just make pity comments around me. Stuff like "Yea, Jeremy here couldn't clean a sink if his job depended on it." ugh... anyway... so anyone else find handing in a 2 weeks notice(when you like the job) a little bit of a rush? |

I actually just got a new job today. The place I've been with, unlike you, I have not problem with personnel, but its a fast food job, and I work in the kitchen, its really the worst work experience I've ever had, and have taken to hating it.
Yep, so the place I've been with for the past year and a couple months, I am about to resign from, come next tuesday (we're all going paintballing together ).

I'm not a Money guy... as long as I have $70 on me to go paintballing a
month I'm Happy as a clam. Besides I'm going to get paid $7.50
and will have full-health if I work at the warehouse.

2 weeks notice is great...especially when you're mad and they ask you why you're quitting. And you pull that list out of your back pocket.... |

Its part of "Rocky Mountain Fireworks" in Salt Lake City, Utah and we
store most of Winco's Fireworks from Missouri here. Wyoming is a
HUGE Fireworks State for people. Hell our little store made $75,000
from June 24th - July 5th. Thats not including our other store in
our town... All I'll be doing mainly is making Assortment
packages for next year, and help unloading 56' Trailers.... its a pain
in the butt... those for works boxes arn't as light as people think.
The main reason we have a warehouse in Salt Lake is becaue Harmons(Grociery store) has a 6-digit account with us. |

Yeah, i worked in a warehouse. We stored and sold auto parts. Our flagship location had 2.4 million worth of auto parts. Four other locations. I was in charge if shipping, bag and tag and inter-store transfer. Its a great experience. Only it got up to about 104 in the summer time in the hottest parts of the warehouse.
