Well you can. Do you have a wireless card, wireless router? There is a socket for a phone cord on your computer.

Stick a cat5 from your router or modem into the laptop.

You need a wireless router if you want to run off wireless.

Well if you have a card, you need a wireless router thats compatible and all that. Its really easy, but can be tricky i guess. Its self explanitory.
