Howdy!

Im set to by my first paintball gun. Ive been loads but always rented some reason. I guess it occured to me ive lost lotsa money. Anyway, Im lookin at decidin between an Autococker Trilogy Pro, an A - 5, a Diablo Wrath or an Indian Creek bKO. All of these will have HPA and an Evo II, unless its the A -5. Not quite sure what to go for. orr.. If yall have any other suggestions.. just in that sorta price range. Maybe a second hand Prostock o4'

Thanks,

Rob

ps. Playing will be fairly wide ranging so a gun will have to be kinda all around.

Since it is your first gun I would go with the A-5.

i agree, easy to maintain. easy to clean. mega upgradeable over time. you slowly add upgrades as you see a need for them. you can pretty much make it any gun you want. woods and speed. although it won't shoot as fast as others, you can still use it. its the ultimate woods gun i my opinion for preformance, durability and potential looks.

get the A-5, you won't be sorry.

i would go for an ion if ur lookin in that price range. but if money is no oject, a dye LCD or LED for around 500 is good gun. i got a DM5 and i heard they rip pretty good and dye is a great company to buy from. good costomer service but tippmann is a great gun, reliable, and like never breaks

Go rent a few more times and find players who will let you shoot the guns you are considering. You will find the one you like. I would add an Ion to the list also. Don't buy anything you don't get to shoot.

I like the A-5 of all of these for a first gun.  Heres why: upgradeabily, reliability, accuracy, and potential for speed.  This gun also is good for woodsball and speedball.

If you are a speed balla then don't get the BKO unless you can get the eyes put into it or you can a B2K 4 which has eyes i believe.  These guns are very fast and w/out eyes you'll have a chopping problem.

I say that the Wrath is a safe bet too and so is the Ion.

My guns name is Mr. Max in remembrance of my dog that got hit by a car: Tippmann A-5
Ricochet R-5
JCS double Trigger
Tippmann E-Grip
Flatline Barrel

Do you have the need for speed?

If you have any intention of going into tourneys, i really suggest you get an ion, or make sure you get the a-5 and buy an e grip for it, and an expansion chamber and a new barrel.  The a-5 alone i think sucks, wastes so much air (expansion chamber) stock barrel sucks (new barrel) a tippmann ( e -grip), i think your best bet would be to just get an ion, you dont even need a new barrel unless you want one.
