Have you even tried to install it? Try installing it first, then come back with questions/doubts. If you don't feel comfortable installing it yourself take it to your paintball proshop.

The hardest part about installing the RT is breaking the locktite with heat on the airline and the valve screws.  At first, I thought that taking apart my tippmann 98c was extremely difficult, I actually lost the buffer oring the first time i shot it.  Then about 2yrs after that (a few month ago) I tryed again, it still was as bit trick.  Now that I have probably dis/re-assembled my marker 20+ times between all of the upgrade I have put in it, I know the internals like the back of my hand. Then again, another aspect which made installin the rt a lil tricky was because at teh same time i was installin an expansion chambre.  I would suggest you try to install it, if you cant do it, bring it to a proshop.  I dont think theres must that you can destroy by installing it yourself, just be carful when breaking the loctite and do not overtiten the valve screws.

Follow the directions. All you have to do is open the body, remove the powertube, take the air lines and valve screws out, remove the valve and velocity screw, put the valve and velocity screw in the new powertube, screw the airline in, attach it to the body, punch out the grip frame hole, attach the cylinder and hose, and reassemble the gun. It's easy. As long as you're somewhat familiar with the inside of a 98C it won't be hard.

The valve screws and air lines are loctited in. Not hard to break it, just be careful not to snap the powertube.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you need to read the stickies at the top of this forum about disassembling the 98C and the 3d manual.

The only thing that you will have to Loctite are the two valve screws.
The hardest thing about installing it is getting the screw holes of the valve lined up with the holes on the new powertube.
It's not hard at all, and sorry to be an ass about this, but in the time that you've posted this question, and responded etc, you could have installed about a dozen RT kits. Just do it.

It's designed to be drop-in. Don't worry about it.
