Here is an E-Grip conversion for the 98 Custom. But the price is right up there with the price of the E-Bolt. Until Tippmann decides to bring out their own, this looks like the only choice.

man that is too pricey for my test. By the time you get a 98c and the e-grip, you have enough money to get an ion with ups.

Even at all that you can get the new custom pro with an e grip already installed for 240 at ten bucks more you can sell your tippmann 98 and come out on top pocket book wise.

You could do that if you wanted. I personally love the 98 I was kinda dissapointed when tippmann made the A-5 without upgrading the 98s but then they came out with the pro series.

This has been around for a while.  I never understood why it was so expensive, but this isn't the E-Grip that everyone was expecting from Tippmann.

Right, it's AN E-Grip, not THE E-Grip. And the price is certainly off the scale!!!

I'll just get an A5 with E-Grip or a Custom Pro E.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

That's way too much for a sear tripper. I'd rather find someplace that still has ebolts in stock, or find one on ebay.
