The flatline is still accurate at long ranges black unless ur talk like 300 feet after the ball loses back spin and is dropping its not but if its still flatl its gonna be accurate and consistent.

Accuracy with any barrel is wholly dependant on the shooter. Just because a barrel is capable of great accuracy doesn't meen you may get the same results. That being said, I have an A5 with the flatline and can regularly get 5-10 shots in an 8" circle at 90', and a 12" circle at 120'. My M98 is a little more accurate and can hod to 14" out to 150', but that goes away during rapid fire.

you know im always right lol. get it if you got thick dry shelled small bore paint. they say Each flatline likes a different brand of paint and fps so i would buy it if u can buy the marbs or zap like u said is a good cheap paint so check if its small bore just drop a ball in and if it rolls out and isn't squishy ( a good test is hold it between ur index and thumb and press on it firmly while u snip it as hard as u can and if it doesn't leave a dent or give its good paint) the reason i'm selling mine is because i play speedball and since you play woodsball this is the ultimate barrel for you. im sure you know half that stuff like set it between 260-280 and tune it up and down at the range with the paint that rolls straight through the barrel and has passed the snip test until u get a perfectly flat shot for about 250ft i think is the flat trajectory range until it drops but it may be more idk but its close. really.....so i heard about the paint part, just not the test.....so if
you squish it and it doesnt make a dent its ok? cause i just bought
some really cheap $36 paint....that when i squished one of them.....i
had to put like i dont know lets just say a lot of pressure on it to
make a dent....and this paint is .68 bore size.....thats all it
says.....do you think that would do well in the flatline?

all paint says they are .68 but no paintball is gonna be that consistent some can be .675 or anything but there gonna be too small of a difference for the naked eye to see. like marbs are probably .675 or something. ok about the test according to what u said the paint should be okay but this is explaining the test. hold up ur left hand and make a c with ur index and thumb while keeping ur other fingers in a fist. put the poaintball between the gap in the C and close ur fingers and press firmly but not enuf to like totally bust the paint ball just enuf to hold it while you thump it as hard as u can where it doesnt go flying. now if u dont now how to snip/thump make the opkay sign using ur middle finger instead of index finger and release it on the paintball. if it doesn't dent or give the paint is solid.

is what i would do is try to borrow someones for a few days and roll some paint thru it and if u find one that rolls right thru and is cheap buy the flatline. but if u got the money for the expensinve paint get the flatline anyways. the only reason not to get the flatline for woods is if you are limited to paint not suited for the flatline. since i hear u got a good paint i'd buy it. |
