it's not all about the barrel being quiet as it is the pressure if ur gun is at a low pressure like 300 psi ur gonna be pretty dang quiet. if u want the barrel quiet get about 3 inches of porting otherwise its gonna be too much of a gashog. any barrel will do fine as long as it as about 3 inch of porting (holes in the barrel)

i found that post to be really noobish. its better than urs. all urs is is ur setup. mine has my pic and something i made up for my sig. thas really bad to be rappin on my sig when urs is sooooo original. personally i dont think too many ppl care about ur future upgrades. that was a good way to waste a post.

The 32* Whisper Barrel is pretty quiet, not that great, but quiet. I hear
the Stiffi barrel is supposed to be really quiet too. I use a J&J Ceramic on my A-5 and its decently quiet. |

The noise your barrel makes does not matter. If your shooting, the people on the other end are going to hear it. You might s well go for the loudest barrel possible to scare the bejeezes out of people when you sneak up on them.

thas true for speedball but for woods u want a little silence because that wouldnt be good for someone to spin on there heels and shoot u right in the mask without even looking becuz ur gun was so loud.

Actually, once again. No matter what barrel your shooting, the people on the other team are going to hear the shots. The only way to silence it is to use a silencer and those are illegal.

Yes, they are illegal in paintball. The only legal "silencer" that you can use on a paintball gun is porting. |

Talk with the ATF about it. Its because paintball silencers can be used on real firearms. If you want to use it go ahead. If i remember right its 5 years in prison plus like $20,000 fine.

no i was jw lol. yea i forgot about that its the same technology just different threads so anyone could take a pb silencer and add new threads for a real gun. yea that wouldn't be good. or u could just practice timing it and shoot the paintball and right after it leaves catch the sound in a jar and screw a lid on real fast. that would work.

You are liable for ANYTHING the FEDS deem "noise reducing agent" on a firearm of ANY sort. This means that they can put you in prison and / or fine you $50,000 and up (yes, that's right) for starters. ATF Feds are sneaky bassads and don't give a fat rats arse about the fact that you aren't going to hold up a liquer store with your A5.If they catch you with a device that produces noise reduction on your marker - you're in for a close encounter of the "name on the list" kind. |
