I have a 98C right now and I'm planning to buy an A-5 next and I was just wondering what should I get out of those choices. Thanks!

Why buy an A5, when you can upgrade your 98 custom to be just as good as one?

Now with the cyclone out it would be better just to get that and upgrade your 98c. With the e-grip supposidly coming out soon, the two would be almost exactly the same.

Except for the stock features you can't get on a 98c.

put a cyclone on ur 98 and get an r/t or e-grip. either one is fine.  the e-grip is okay as long as it isn't getting water poured into it like in a total down pour but if its raining that hard you probably don't want to play anyways. just go with the e-grip unless the r/t is cheaper which i think they're both 100 bucks?

The r/t is about $75. At least that is what it costs at my proshop.

If you really have your heart set on an A-5, I'd get one with an e-grip. If you'd rather just upgrade your 98c with a cyclone an e-grip (when it comes out) and save some $ then I'd do that.

I was thinking about that earlier. The reason why I'm getting a Tippmann A5 is because I want to install a G36 kit on it. (OPSGear.com)

get the e-grip because the r/t isn't allowed everywhere. if a field you go play on only allows semi's then you can put it on that firing more and still play with the e-grip.

there is no way to "turn off" the r/t before you start a match. you would have to totally remove it.

so for that alone its worth the added 30 bucks or so. plus you get the firing mode. you will love turbo mode
