Has anyone seen the new airless gun? I read about it in a mag and it seemed pretty cool. Like 7-8 bps. The way they described it almost sounds like it operates like the new airless electric Dewalt nail gun.

Never heard of it. Sounds interesting though. How does the airless electric nail gun work?

I don't think velocity is an issue. The airless nail gun operates on a 24v battery. I think it has a mini air compressor on board.

Ahh, the new e-volt by NPS. I look into the possible future of paintball.
One big problem, it only gets 500 shots off a single charge. And, it kinda looks like a 98c. Edited by cdacda13 |

Anyone got any pics or links? *Edit* Found a pic on google.
It doesn't look so new either. About 2 months old. Edited by rossy11223 |

Ya I read about it in a mag too. It should be a great woodsball gun. If it were me I'd make a speedball marker version too with no sight and no stock and a vert feed. That would be cool. Is the barrel removable I wonder?

That would suck to have, you'd spend more money on batteries instead of paintballs.

it has an 18 volt gel cell rechargeable batttery,no maintenance.it is the same type of battery in exit lights
in commerdial buildings when the power goes out.with more innovative technology this maybe the first step in the hpa,co2,sca (self compressed air) debate.

I can tell right now it will not be field legal, and insurance companies will not back it. I'ts not a paintball gun int he traditional sense. Seems too unsafe.

How? Its most likely safer than regular air-powered guns. There wont be any velocity spikes, thats safe. its sealed so no water will get in. |

I read something like that in APG. The early design was called like the sonic blaster or something ghetto like that. Or maybe its a different gun or something. Anyways does anybody have a link to the site selling or making them?

This is definitely interesting. I have a feeling that this particular
gun may not sell very well but it will probably lead to a huge change
in paintball technology.

I agree it is a fantastic idea. No more tanks to fill. Just a gun to charge. and it is definately safer than have tanks connected to your gun.
