    Posted: 06 August 2005 at 8:12pm

Hi,

I recently installed this R/T and today I finally got some C02 to use. So this is my first time using the R/T. I know it wasn't that fast, but I still need to fine tune it.

http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=Dry-Fire-RT-VID

Does anyone know how fast that was exactly?

Leave any comments or thoughts, thanks.

I would guess between 6 and 10 balls per second at peak. I may be wrong, though.

I'm happy for you that you got an RT, I love mine.

I 'm not sure how fast that was, I know that it was sub 10 BPS though. That's about how fast mine is (10 BPS).

Some people recomend taking out the return spring, since as long as you have plenty of gas, you won't need it. However when the tank starts running low, the piston quits working leaving you with a useless gun, that's why I left my spring in. Just keep tinkering with it and you will have a lot of fun keeping up with the guys shooting $500 guns and ticking them off.

Sounds like you had a hard time getting it to maintain the fire. Once you tune it to where you can maintain it, pull it a little further to speed it up. When you get over 10bps there will not be a clear pause between shots.

My RT: http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=MOV0029469 around 16-18 bps at peak.

You should get HP. It works a lot better at high cycle rates, and it is way less damaging to the guns internals.

But eh, pretty cool eh,r/t.

I had Grunt_98C run the video through a sound program to count the spikes per second and that's what he told me it was at when peak.

I have found that with the screw in, it is easier to maintain the fire, and with it out it shoots faster. Somewhere in there it will work well for you.

I don't know what the cyclone max's out at. But I do know what my vid was analyzed at. Maybe you shouldn't expect more then 15bps, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. If you can do the same thing that grunt did, please get me a rate figure.

^^^ SORRY!

I just re-read the PM and he said it was at 14-16. I had just remembered that it was within two of 16 and went up instead of down.

slower....that thing was fast...it hit 18bps in it's shooting run....and as for
Nickodemus i couldn't get that accurate of a bps count because the type
of vid, the vid was saved as...the sound wouldn't want to work with my
editing program...but the video did work....from looking at the video in
slow motion i counted 14 to 16 bps....i would have got a more accurate
count if i had the audio....

The cyclone doesnt physicaly max out, it just creates the blender effect over 15bps (18 has been found more realistic though).

Thats nothing though, my RT can get up to 20 .
