You pretty much have to use what is available to you. Wood is always good because you can build it and cut it too how you like. If it is in an area where other things can get hit, you might want to invest in getting a net to put around the field.

Dig foxholes and set traps. They cant shoot back if they are busy crying because of a sprained ankle.

thats so mean hades lol, i was gonna say get an inflatafield but you said you dont got much money (inflatafield is my way of sayin airball field) i personally love it when places put up plywood bunkers they seem to be extremely efficient, if you had some friends help you pay for the wood you could make better more extravagant bunkers, maybe a small tower.....

Yup you need to just wing it and see what you can find. Remember paint is washable so you could use a old car or something. Just be creative and also you can go here http://www.tippmann.com/forum/wwf77a/forum_posts.asp?TID=138 377&PN=1

my friends have hay& plywood bunkers, and we got a fort-thingy in the works. all ya need is a shovel, some wood, hammers, nails, and time.(old tires would be nice!) mabey drag & set dead trees, old tables tied or held down with rocks. i'll rack my brain for more ideas. later |

Large culverts work great for building walls, snakes, and such. My friends and I got a crapload of them for free from a farm that wasn't using them any longer. If you live in the country, see if you can't get some old culverts or spools from a large farming operation. You won't be disappointed. |

Try using some old pallets because not only will they stop paint, they might let some through which makes the game closer to reality, since most military rifles will pass through wood.

well hay would be great our team has a field like that we went and got
hay bales from an old hay square thing. and if you have enough hay its
kool to break open a bale and spread it all over the bunker so you will
slide and not get hurt.

thats retarted the point of hiding behing a bunker is so you don't get hit. if you use pallets, your best bet is to throw a tarp over it. |

I hate pallets on the field and avoid using them as cover because they block your view but you stilll get hit through them. Get creative and make cover that allows you to work the sides, bottom, and even top of the opening. Also, as stated earlier... look out for animals that decide your bunkers are nice new homes on their land. Edited by Nickodemus |
