I have been playing paintball for about a week now. I mainly play
woodsball with my friends. So far I have been using a PMI mask,
paintball pod harness, and gloves. I think they are all very
uncomfortable and want to get better equipment. For a mask, I was
looking into either the Dye Invision or the JT Proteus 2. For a
harness, I saw a cool looking 4+3+2 Evil paintball harness for 20
dollars on Ebay. For gloves, I haven't seen anything good at
all. Can anyone give me information about quality
equipment. I don't want to spend over $90 dollars on the mask,
$50 for the harness, and $30 for the gloves. Thanks!

The Proteus is a good choice but V-force also makes very good masks. I don't know much about harnesses but I'm sure most of them are about the same quality or price. Do you want fingerless gloves or just regular ones?

Mask- Vforce Profiler Harness- Anything NxE or Mantis... Empire makes good cheap stuff. A specific model is up to you. Just keep those brands in mind. Gloves- Dye and Empire make good gloves. I love my Dye C5's, but they are more than 30 bucks. Perhaps you can peruse Ebay and find some cheap ones. |

For a mask get the profiler. I have one and it is awsome it takes like 5 seconds to get your lens out to clean or change it, you get full facial coverage and it is so light and comfortable youll forget your wearing it. |

I don't really like the Invision mask. I'd say go for the Profiler instead. The Invision doesn't offer much neck protection.

V-force masks are the best, and for a harness every redz harness I have tried was very comfortable.

redz packs are extremely comfortable, but they're 60. thats 10 over your budget, but i'm telling you its worth it.
