I'm looking to buy a new mask (I have a crappy Scott mask now). I narrowed it down to these two and am looking for more opinions. Thanks.

The better mask is the profiler, but it is also $20 more than the proteus.

The profiler has the quick lens change system which is a plus.

I have seen/tried on an Invision and I didn't find it very comfortable.

Go for the Profiler. As for the Invision it's a great mask with one downfall... it doesn't give you much lower face/neck protection (and getting hit in the necks hurts bad).

I my opinion VForce make the best masks on the market. I have owned and tried many JT masks and i have been disapointed with all of them. Now i own one of the "cheaper" VForce mask (Shield) i will never part with it not even for a higher end VForce mask.
Reasons: - Best protection of any mask on the market. - Hard shelled mask. - Throat guard (has saved me a few throat shots) - Largest/clearest field of vision of any mask. - Quick change lense (sweet!) - Cheap! |

I'd go with V-Force as well. I own a few of them and several replacement lenses.

Actually the masks are about equal. They both have their pros and cons. It just depends on what you want. Most people will side with the mask they currently use/own no matter if its good or not. It pretty much goes that way with any equipment you buy.

well of course its cheaper its like 20 bucks. the profiler rules, they don't call it the profiler for nothing. many times i've had paintballs whiz by my mask which surely would have broken had i been wearing a wider mask. |

Only people who have owned a profiler or proteus should really be replying to this. Your opinion isn't really valid if you haven't owned or even seen one or the other. It amazes me how many people reply to something they have no idea about. As I said before most people have a biased opinions because they have only owned one and never even seen the other. Its either that or they follow the bandwagon and just agree with the majority which may not be the best idea because you dont know how many of the majority have actually used or seen the thing they are backing. It seems that alot of people on here base their opinions on rumors rather than experience.
