98c if you want a tippy. Oh, and it's more like "those $1700 guns," not $500. |

Indian Creek Designs makes the BKO series.
Buy a tippmann, it won't let you down. Or if you have the money get a Autococker. (Worr is the company.) |

Calm down man. Your posting at 2 in the morning? What type of response did you expect. Do you want an expensive marker or not. At first you say you can't afford 500 then you can't afford 1700, then you want all kinds of information about both. Listen. The 98 custom averages 150 dollars, there are several variations, color schemes etc. The A5 is around 240, with similar variations. Either is an inexpensive reliable marker that would be a wise purchase. |

Ok. Well, first off i love tippmann and i have a cocker which I like(sometimes) and have experience with other markers. But a big part of the reason I'm a member of this forum is my love for tippmann and I imagine the same goes for many others. So, this forum is probably quite biased in Tippmanns favor.
That being said, I would reccomend a Tippmann. Standard A-5s run about $220. I belive a 98 pro basic runs about the same.(give or take $20 or so.) But you can also purchase either marker with an electronic grip or a response trigger for an extra charge. At this point i wouldnt get a 98 custom, buy a 98 pro instead only for the ease of upgrading. Now, where to buy? I would reccomend actionvillage.com or countyapintball.com Ive dealt with both and had a pleasent experience. Actionvillage May be a little chaeper but for many of their products you need to add them to your cart to see the price. This applies to the "too low to show" pricing. On a sid note, I think a b2k4 is a very well priced, high performance marker. That also I would reccomend. Its all preference. Shoot as many markers as possible before buying anything. |
