Yesterday i was cleaning my gun and when i was putting it back together i took the front bolt, the power tube and the rear bolt and started putting those together. When i was putting the Linkage arm to connect the front bolt, power tube and the rear bolt together i accedentially pushed the rear bolt into the power tube to far. when i did that there's a pin inside the power tube that was pushed and the power tubes internals fell out. I personally thought i was screwed because on augest 6th next week ... there is a 12 hour senerio im going to and i thought tippmann wouldnt be able to send me a power tube in time. Luckely i called the people at tippmann and they told me what to do to fix it.....Fewf

Easy fix. Remove your power tube and reinstall the washer and o-ring (washer first, o-ring on top), there is a grove for each. Put the powertube and rear bolt together with the linkage arm into the receiver. But do not push the rear bolt into the the power tube. Instead, remove the grip and slide the powertube into position with a screwdriver from underneath. Once the powertube is in position, install the tombstone so the parts wont pop out and then fully seat the rear bolt. Replace the rest of the parts and you're goo to go. |

no need to remove the powertube. The washer and o-ring can be installed from the tombstone slot.

actually, when i break down my a-5. I go ahead and disasemble the halves. I know i dont have too, I just feel more comfortable laying the power tube and rear bolt in there appropriate areas. |

My a5 ruled, i would smack the valve with the rear bolt to hammer the
internals back into the body, and i never had the o-ring pop out.
First-run A5's were so much nicer. |
