Here is an older picture of my Ion. It has a Clamping feed neck (Q-lock) $35 Shocktech front reg $85 New Designs blade ball bearing trigger $35 J&J 14" barrel $44 Bullit Drop Forward. $20 (there like 35 now) Halo B with Rip drive. $150 Ion was $285 Total $625 (I now have a different drop.) I think that a uni mount costs like 44 or something. If you don't like drops. You have to run HPA on it. It works fine stock, but I tricked mine out so that I could get every ounce of performance that I could. I'd give it a 10/10 for performance and price. It's the best bargain in the sport if you ask me. As one person once said, " the only problem with Ions is that there are no problems with Ions) They can keep up with just about every gun out there. Great for both woods and speedball. They cap at 17 bps, but trust me, you won't need to fire any faster than that. Good luck |

Dont buy one of those! Dude for that price you know wat kind of used guns you can pick up??? Buy used off ebay, u can pick up some used vision shockers for less than that with a tank and hopper!! Or u can buy a cocker with an eblade or something thats gonna be better in the long run that you wont wanna get rid of

^^ His best bet would be to buy an Ion new anyhow, <I withdraw this insult>.
From what I gather peachy doesn't know a whole lot about paintball. Thus getting a used gun would not be wise (when you buy used you usually buy problems, esecially with cockers). Your sound loader should be fast enough. You will find out after you use the gun a while. I got a Halo B because I had the cash, do nto feel like you HAVE to get some great hopper. Just has to be able to keep up with 17 rps. Edited by reclusivetorrid |

Ions have some of the best anti-chop eyes out there. THE BEST.
They fire a beam of light acoss the chamber, not like a photo eye that depends on certain colors to be able to see correctly. Works awesomely. |

indeed he can. but if i'm not mistaken, the hopper he has is the empire reloader 2? if it's that, it's like the empire version of the VL revy. it only feeds around 12-13bps. you wont' chop, but you may have alot of misfires. i would get an egg or better. |

The Ion won't even mis-fire. If there isn't a completely loaded paintball in the chamber it won't fire at all.

I still like my e-cocker better :-D Yea, but if he is short on cash, then he can "get by" with his hopper he has now, until her gets money.

You can still buy off of ebay. Shipping will just be a little more. If he doesnt know a lot about paintball, all that more reason to buy used. |

68/4500 is the average tank. You will get about 1000 shots from it. If you want more shots per tank then get a bigger one.
