Snipers don't exist in paintball. Good, we got that out of the way. Your first upgrade should be a barrel. Make sure you also have a good mask and a good-sized co2 tank also. From there, just play a lot and determine what you need from experience.  

^^^ yep.  Also, about the "no snipers in paintball".  I think i know what you mean and i recommend you use a term like "sharp-shooter".  You want to be a person in the ghillie crawling around the field undetected and shooting someone with only 1 ball.  Just remember, all paintball guns have the same range except for the flatlines, whitch arn't accurate enough to be a "sniper" barrel.  I'd recommend a J&J ceramic barrel or a Lapco Bigshot.  You really don't need a stock to be a sniper.  Only get one if you are running a remote.  If you do decide to get one, get a SpecOps Solid stock.  You will not be disapointed.  I also recommend a 45 round hopper (http://www.wevopaintball.com/pumppaintball.html).  This will make your gun lighter and less of a target if you do sustain fire.  "Snipers" don't need 200 balls, so why have that extra weight?  I hope you enjoy the sport and are happy with your 98.

don't listen to goo. stocks are a waste of money. play stock for 2-6 months, and see what you think you play more: speedball(hyperpipe/air bunkers) or woodsball(self-explanatory). if it's woodsball, i recomend a flatline and an r/t and a 12v revvy. if it's speedball, a 12" j&j ceramic or a 12" lapco bigshot. they both have their ups and downs. the j&j is found to be excellent at self cleaning, while the bigshot is slightly more accurate. my personal choice is the j&j. for firepower, an e-bolt and an evo 2 should suit you well. if you want to work on it a little, put a center feed on. it will feed the balls slightly faster.

on my gun, i have had it for three to four months and
was looking to upgrade it. Suzuki, like you asked, i
am looking for a barrel with the greatest accuracy i
can get that would be good for woods ball. So it
sounds like either the flatline or the lapco bigshot.

If you are looking for accuracy a good barrel would be the Custom Products one peice, Lapco Bigshot or the J&J Ceramic, all are great but if I had to choose one it would probebly be the Bigshot.

After that you might find yourself lossing accuracy because of bad shot to shot consistancy (one shot is 267 fps, then the next is 291, then 270.. bad consistancy), getting an expansion chamber helped my tippmann's consistancy a lot, the x-core from www.countypaintball.com is a nice and cheap expansion chamber, just remember you need a vertical adaptor as well.

After that you might want to increase your rate of fire, a responce trigger and an e-hopper should do the trick.

Well, here's the thing... I thought all i needed was a new barrel at first.  Once you buy one thing you can't stop.  Right now i NEED an RVA.  GoTtA bUy OnE

new barrel, expantion chamber or regulator, and a new hopper....
