The populace did not turn on thier own, and no armed guards were required on any relief supply convoys or trains.

The Germans evacuated several major metros in Prussia before the Russian advance in a matter of days with little in the way of remaining logistical support. And the populace actually walked west carrying their few belongings on thier back, something it appears the average modern American is incapable of, without a car or government assistance he would rather stay and face the storms, and blame everyone but themselves.

Yeah they didn't have much to carry so that made it easy for them. Most Americans  would be to stubborn to leave a lot of their stuff. I do see where you are going with it though.

When did we look down on other peoples action in a crisis?

I think you like to argue, you should look into becoming a legal attorney.

I can see people staying during the storm because they werent 100% sure the levys would fail but to be mad at the government and such for not evacuating them fast enough is stupid. They chose to stay and now they are facing consequences and need someone to blame for their lack of good judgement.

Uh ok, our entire infrustructure shut down all because of New Orleans....I just went to Wendys for a Classic Triple...I paid for it with an obsolete American dollar.

Its Obsolete because the entire American infrustructure shut down.

Seriously.

I dont pay any attention to the news much but how does this hurricane's response compare to the Big Asian wave a while back?

OS, would you care to make an actual specific point and/or argument, instead of throwing out vague historical observations (of varying accuracy) with limited connection to anything in particular?

It is very difficult to respond to anything when there is no beef.  I encourage you to use short bullet points.

How are the people supposed to pump that much water out in days? Or even weeks. They could buy SCUBA gear and make it an underwater city (which would be really cool). I understand what you are saying, but I the state of the cities are different.
