i just went to shoot my gun and the first shot came out fine, but the second barely came out and my gun uncocked. it sounds like somethings jamming up near the front bolt but i took it apart and from what i saw, everything was in place. but whatevers wrong with it, it must've happened overnight cause it worked last night.

i have a 98 custom w/ rt

plz help

i still have it. taking it apart and putting it back together didnt help.

the tank's about 3/4s full

the guns about 4-5 years old but usually works fine

i checked the ball latch and its in its place

i might just have to take it to the store

is the ball detent in right becuase that can cuase problems if it is in backwards

try tightening the back of the gun cause sometimes the its lose and it wobbles causing it not to recock all the way.

mm maybe you are low on co2 or maybe it is a jam ? ask so one at a shop or have them take a  look at it

I thought you said it worked now?  Whatever. Just check all the parts of your gun like o-rings etc. If anythings broken/damaged then replace it.

just call tippmann and ask for all new parts. i've already ordered a new spring,rear bolt, and a new sear from them in a week. and its free. if it wasnt for tippmann being so kind to there customers then that would of cost me like 25 dollars.

Two words: Valve screws.

You need to either tighten your valve screws or get new ones if you have lost them. This happened to my brothers gun a while back and we tightened the valve screws and it worked fine.

Your gun may have worked fine for a while without them (mine did) but you will start to have problems later.

it works! yea the valve screws were so loose, im suprised they didnt just fall out when i picked the gun up. i checked everything but those. thanks alot to everybody!
