i have an apache but i wouldn't exactly call it "quiet" in fact it's down right loud, it's a great hopper and feeds like a monster but if you want quiet i would steer clear of it.

shake and bake. Absolutely the quitest hopper. With that being the
exception, I'd say all the other "electronic hoppers" are going to be
pretty similar in sound. Although I believe the Halo? is sound
activated, so it only turns on when the gun is fired, opposed to the
revy which is always on I believe.

Halo Bs aren't sound activated, Reloader Bs are I think. And revvys are always on.

Revvies aren't "always on." They feed using eyes just like Halo B's do. Reloader type hoppers fire when they detect the gun firing. "sound activation"

Ricochet has a "sniper" hopper with rubber on the inside. It's supposed to about 20% quieter than a regular Ricochet

I wouldn't worry about it. I mean, when you fire your gun people are gonna here you, so it doesn't really matter how quiet the hopper is.

i also have a halo. its pretty quiet when u have any balls in it but it
is loud when u dont have balls, but u arent going to go around shootin
with no balls unless your giving fake cover fire on the nubes that take
cover whenever they hear a single shot that may or may not be coming at
them. Get a Halo.

the only hopper i know of that is "always on" is the quantum by viewloader, and it downright sucks. i hate that hopper. as for quiet, most hoppers are very quiet until the eyes detect an empty hopper. when that happens, either turn it off for a second or just reload real fast.

Get the Egg. The Backman and Revvy can both feed about 14 bps or so (which is not fast enough if you have a well tuned r/t). The Eggy can feed up to 19 bps which should be fast enough to keep up with your r/t (unless you plan on shooting 20 bps or so; then you'll need a better hopper like the Halo B). |
