I play woodsball and usually go through one 20oz. tank in a day of play, but sometimes the last game or two, I need to slap on my backup tank.  I'd like to get a big enough tank to get me through about 1200 shots.  I do know the formula's for figuring out shots, but I was wondering what most of you all had...

***Edit***I'll definitely go with a 4500psi tank, so I know the formula is 15 x #cubic inch, but I was just wondering what everyone else had, since I know the formula is just an estimate.  BTW, I'll be getting the high pressure, since I have a Tippy.

Could you also tell me what BRAND you all have...Thanks...

um it depends on the psi of the tank , a 88/4500 tank or bigger should easily get u 1200 or more shots.  Um try to go with a crossfire they r great tanks.  If it is a 3000 psi tank deffiently go with the bigger CI to compensate for the less psi.  I didnt say a 68/4500 becuase i am not sure how many shots that will get you i think around 1000 correct me if i am wrong.  hope this helped

I use a 88/4500. That will give me about 1300 shots or so. I'm thinking of getting a 68 soon though (because I'm starting to play more at my local fields which means all day fills).

I have an 68/45 which seems to be the most popular size, it lasts  me 950 rounds easy. I like the 68 because it is big enough to have a good amount of air, but compact enough to not be to bulky.

I would never go over a 68 ci unless I were using a Remote or a huge drop forward.

Answering your poll question, I use a 68/4500 and it gets me a wee bit over a case per fill.

I am running an 88 and my son is running a 68.(both 4500 psi) The primary consideration, with all day air, is the physical dimensions  and weight of the tank. With both our markers virtually the same, his 68 (lighter and smaller) is easier to handle than my 88. If I had to do it again I'd go with a 68.

I do not see much difference in brand. They all have to meet the same standards. One of my tanks is a CrossFire with a Crossfire regulator valve. The other is a Nitro Duck re-fitted with a CrossFire regulator valve. No tank is worth $300 and very few worth over $200. I bought both ours on Ebay. One for $45 which needed a new hydro-test ($17 plus shipping) and valve ($65 installed) The other for $140, one year old on a five year hydro. Check out Ebay for used tanks or discounted new tanks.
