i was just wondering, is the evelution 2 really force fed? i mean does it push ball after ball into the breach of your marker as fast as it says it does?  see i have a rico AK and the last time i played i chopped some balls. i just want something thats going to get me away from CHOPPING. someone needs to come up with a anti-chop front bolt for the 98c. but for now maybe a faster loader will help out. or should i go HALO? or is that overkill for a mech.marker?

                      thanks, SVRIDER

I feel that the evo2 is force feed.  The only thing that really seperates it from the Halo is the little beads on the Halo.  Balls in the hopper serve the same function holding the balls down.  I double fed my 98 all of the time with my evo2 pushing balls past the detent.

The evo2 seemed to work best with my 98 when I had it turned all of the way down.

Spend the extra on a halo.

You chopping doesn't mean that it's your hopper. The AK can feed up to 12 bps (which you probably aren't outshooting with a mech 98). Make sure that you're using good paint and try it again before you go and spend $70-$100 on a new hopper. I'd hate to see you spend $100 and still be chopping beacause you are using bad paint. Make sure your velocity isn't up to high either.

I consider it to be a "semi-forcefeed" hopper.

For a completely 'mech marker, a simply revy should be fine enough. I'd check the paint. One time I went out with paint that was so crappy (it had been left sitting around), that when the air hit it, it'd break in my barrel. Also, make sure you're velocity screw isn't set too high.

A 98 will only go so fast with the elbow to have to feed past. A 12V revvy would be the best bet.

It is semi-force fed. You can make it force fed if you install the       z-board in it. Unless you have any upgrades, get the revvy.
