ok, heres another go. what if, say, 98 customs had an interchangable grip frame with universal mounts of some sort. that way, you can just pick a grip (be it spyder or even angel) and slide it on, with of course some minor wiring. im thinking an e2 on a 98c! or maybe a universal adapter that fits into the tippmann 98c's stock handle that lets you hook up any board from any gun. once again, may need some electrical work, but wouldnt that be nifty! picture putting a tadao into a 98 custom for one game, then switching boards to use for the next game. dont know how many people would use it, just thinking.

Why would you want to switch boreds that often?

Plus I dont think very many new things are going to be coming out for the 98. Its like 7 years old.

The Custom Pro has interchangable grip frames I think.

.........

The custom pro gripsreceivers are almost the exact same as the old 98.

Why would you wanna swap out boards liek that though?

You don;t seem to grasp the concept of exactly what the electronics do, do you?

Go buy yourself a Mini-Morlock. Its a board that comes with eyes, and almost limitless possibilities.

i dunno about any of that. i've never used electro, so im not that well edumacated on the subject. i dont got the cash to upgrade to a good electro, and i dont want a spyder. i just had a sudden idea, figured id run it past ya. youre probably right though. but the adapter idea, ignoring the swapping idea, was meant to house ALL 45 grip frame boards. not just the tippman specific ones. i still think e-blading a 98 would be cool, even if it cant be done.

heh, well, most guns don't house their boards in the grip themselves. Impulses, and B2k's use tubs/trays to house their boards because they are too big to fit alongside the battery.
