i am planning on painting my gun and don't know how i should do it. please post pictures of your guns or other guns.thanks. by the way i have a tippman 98 custom with very few upgrades but it should say in my sig.

spray paint is probably the most common way for do-it-yourself paintjobs.

Yeah, he's right... cheap and common. Check out the digital camp howto thing, but that's more expensive and takes waay longer.

but the digital looks a whole lot better, but what ever you do, dont forget to clear coat the finished product, or all of the paint will rub and scrape off; happened to a friend of mine after he spent about an hour painting his 98 and forgot the clear coat in the excitement to show off the finished product.  He was pissed after the first game when he realized half of the paint was missing.  The look on his face was priceless.  We thought he was going to cry!

I'am still trying to find out whats the best paint to use....I have read about some but I want the best paint I can get for painting my marker

There are good specialty paints available at places like Home Depot. I painted my marker with a gray "hammertone" paint that has turned out to be super rugged and, even though simple, I get a lot of compliments on it.

I bead blasted the outside. Sprayed it with an etching primer for good paint grip, then shot three coats of the color. You can see it at:
