OK, im sorry to be asking this when its probably writen all over the forums but I've been thinking of upgrading my stock a-5 to nitro and im reluctant to spend 80$ on a tank when some answers are not spelled out in front of me.

Any ways, my first question is do you need any upgrades for the a-5 for it to take nitro/HPA (correct me if they are not the same thing, or similar) like gauges chambers etc. or can you just plug it into the same thing co2 goes into?

My second question is do any remotes work for it?

and finally, i was wondering who easy the upgrade is, ie is it easy to tune the gun?

I really appreciate it and I know people have said these things before, just not in a direct way.

The output pressure for the HPA is ~800 psi, the same as for CO2. No changes needed.

Since the output is the same as the CO2 tank, it will work in the remote position just as well as the CO2 does.

Just make sure you get a high output tank, not a low one. And you won't have to tune anything on your A-5, except for maybe adjusting the velocity (which you should do before each time you play).

Thanks alot, now i have another question.  Can any HPA bottle be set to low or high pressure or do you need extra harware?  I was thinking of later on upgrading to the low pressure system.

Also, does the amount of CI effect anything else then the amount of shots you can get out of one tank?

There are adjustables tanks that are expensive. All you need to do is buy a high pressure preset tank that output 800-850 psi. They also make low pressure preset tanks that output 400-450 psi, these will not work with your tippmann. The ci is just the measurement of how big the tank is.
