Me and my friend did all this in a few hours. We also bought a M98 for 75 bux, with flatline and stock, and ex-chamber, he took the flatline and stock n sold me the gun for 40.
Enjoy. ![]()
My friend's 98. We hacked-sawed the foregrip and Bondo'd it, and took the flatline and stock from the M98. Specs: Flatline, Solid Stock, R/T ![]()
My 98. Took off the "98 Custom", shaved down the rear sight, shaved the velocity hole, and the back of the grip, along with the sight rail a tad. ![]()
The M98 I bought for 40 bux. It's got an X-Chamber. |

Yeah, all of the guns are awaiting paint jobs.
Silver one's gonna be matte black, My 98c will probably be metallic blue, and the M98, well I'm thinking something crazy. |

I think it's awsome! Give it a flat black paint job and yur good to go. When I get my 98 back I'll have to try that, looks gnarly. 7 outa 10.

They're aight.
I'd try to fix up the milling on the back of the grip frame. Looks a little sloppy.

jb'ed? does that mean bondo?
If so, we already got past that. The bondo gooped down a little into the hole where you'd put a vertical adaptor, but no problem. I took a razor blade and cut through the bondo where the seam is. And voila. The receivers came apart. The bondo in the little hole stuck to one side of the gun, so when you open it up, its mostly on one side. |

I told another guy that I wouldn't shoot an ugly dog with his gun. I
take that back. I wouldnt shoot an ugly dog with this gun. If you're
going to play speedball, trick it out for speedball. If your going to
play scenario, trick it out scenario (hint, watch alot of war movies to
get an idea for what a good practical assault rifle should look like.)
Don't hack up a 98 to turn it into squatter fodder. Geez. |

Okay buddy, maybe I can't afford a reg, eBolt, Halo, Centerfeed, or anything else for my gun right now. I;m lucky I even got a drop and HPA. I'm tricking it out for speedball, but I don't have all the parts yet. People don't just buy 700 dollars worth of parts for their gun in a jiffy, just like that. Unless they are a self centered person like you that has no respect for other people's guns if they aren't over 800 dollars.

Right. And that's because you actually know me. FYI I have a BT-4 assault. It's not the best performing gun on the planet, I know, but asthetically, it looks good. I stated my opinion, and it's up to you to take it personally or not. My gun was $300 even. I have seen guns of the same price, that looked twice as good as yours. I know it needs work, but right now, at the present moment, it looks like the equivalent of a retard gerbil wearing sambrero. (The views and opinions of areios are not held or supported by tippmann or any of it's bodies, but are strictly those of areios and or accompanying parties.) |
