So if i buy a hpa tank i can use my giant air compressor at my house to fill it with normal air.

Nope...Your giant air compressor probably only has the capability to pump to a max of 175psi.  And that's if it is a high power shop compressor.  However, if you have a scuba tank compressor, that's a different story.  But, typically scuba compressors cost in the thousands of dollars.  I'm guessing you have a shop compressor, like they have in auto garages????

Ditto:  The paintball shop I used to work for just got a new Bauer air compressor. The compressor itself cost 7,500 dollars.
