I quit Fry's (grocery store) and got a job at a hobby store/track. Pays $2 more and I'm interested in RC stuff (mostly 1/8 racing) so this job will be a little more fun in a way.

A bunch of kids in my scout troop are now 17-18 and are hardcore R/C racers.

If you've ever driven a screaming nitro buggy at 60mph+, you know it's fun.

No, I know exactly what he's talking about. Those lame r/c cars that cost a lot of money and go like 90 MPH. It's retarded.

Hairball, Bashing is fun but nothing beats racing.

Cedric, some people like RC cars and think their cool and others don't like yourself. I think a musical instrument is retarded, but thats just my opinion and same with computers, video games etc. I'm more mechanical. If I had the $ to race MX or some 1:1 I would. But I don't have a family that is into racing so I could never have the support etc so I have to do RC.

I have talked to people that think paintball is a waste of time,$,space. All personal opinion.

I agree, scouts seems like something for kids and parents, RC cars are to expensive and just stupid, buy a go kart or dirt bike or quad or SOMETHING.

Also, If you've ever flown a screaming turbojet RC plane at 150mph+, you know it's fun.

(I've never done it, but seen it done in person)
