So whay you guys think of the new C3

I say i dont know how well the propane will work. but it is similar to CO2. Since it is a liquid inside the bottle and then turns to gas.

It probubly has anti siphon- and maybe some "new" technology that will make it run better

It doesn't need an anti-siphon.  It works on the same principle as a propane-powered nail gun, in that it lets a tiny amount of propane into a chamber, then when you pull the trigger, it ignites the propane and propels the paintball out of the barrel.

This is the reason it can get 50,000 shots off of one 16 oz propane tank.

Propane itself is closer to compressed air in the way it behaves, so it is alot more stable than Co2 is.

I personally am going to wait a bit, there is bound to be problems and bugs in the system for a while.

I think it's pretty sweet. The vid looks cool. But I wouldn't spend $229 on a pump (that's just me though).

I was told that if you look at the picture of the C-3 on the tippmann website, that there is a little icon which you can click and see a video.

Sorry, but I talked to a store owner who is on the tippmann factory team (WHo claims to have known about the c3 for months) and he said that the reason why the C3 is a pump and tippmann is not making 98's and A5's with propane stuff is because propane guns are SLOW they cannot keep up with the speed of c02/air which makes sense because propane has to be ignited, anyway if they had a semi C3 it would probably get very hot and burn you :D

If tippmann had any brains they would have patented the technology and no other company could use propane powered markers.

You've probably already saw it, but whatever. Go to Tippmann.com, then click products, then C-3. There is a little button in the lower left hand corner of the pic that says "watch vid" or something of that nature.

Actually it very well could be, because it isn't going to be effected by temperature and pressure drop is not really a consideration so the consistency will always be relatively high.  Chemical reactions are always consistant in the yield they produce and that is what the C3 uses to propel its paintballs.
