Big factor in deciding this, what do you play? Speed or woods?

The most dramatic improvment in speed, feather light trigger pull, reduced recoil and conservation of gas is the E-Bolt. If you have a late model 98C you can install the E-Trigger (E-Grip) from the Custom Pro for improved trigger pull and similar results to the E-Bolt.

As for the barrel, voting against other posters who have never fired it, I'd opt for the Apex barrel...all the advantages of the Flatline and none of the drawbacks(except for the loudness of its report)...works with any paint and will shoot straight when you need it to. I have one. I have fired nearly 4000 rounds through it so far, on the speedball course, and have absolutely no complaints other than it is slightly louder than the Flatline

Right...I haven't seen anyone mention the DOP Pro-seal powertube and front bolt yet.  It was the first upgrade I got, and IMHO by far the best.  It immediately improves air efficiency, and there's no more worrying about stripping that pesky stock (plastic ) powertube.

no aftermarker internals will improve the preformance of the Tippmann guns. its been proven here. the stock internals are always better. only reason to replace internals is if they have broken, then you might consider a stronger material, however it won't preform as well as the stock ones. other than that, only the JCS Gold powertube has any advantage because is has no FVA, therfore you are able to do more and have more options with the RVA and regs and what not.
