The AA is more accurate, and probably around the same noise level. So AA>Ceramic.

Different people have different opinions.  Some people like Ford better than Chevy.

Mostly because of the price, and also, a lot of people are anti-smart parts. The J&J only costs $40, while the AA costs $70. So a lot of people don't have $70 to spend.

I like most smart parts gear. I think the only mistake they've made so far in the product department has been the Nerve.

By the way, I love the All American and the Freak barrel. And Hondas are the best.

Like others have said, everybody recommends the J&J becuase it is quite a bit cheaper than an AA, and most people posting "what barrel should I get" are usually just starting out and don't need something high end. Now, with that being said, the AA is one of the top of the line barrels. Combine that with a freak back, and you're shooting darts. But the AA/freak is mostly for speedball, and it is expensive.

And yes, Honda's are the best.

^Defenitely dude, the All American is an awesome choice. Another good option is the Freak, which is my personal favorite. I've heard that the Evil Pipe barrels are good too, but the AA is one of the best barrels out there.

go with the teardrop....it's about the same price as a j&j and will give you equal if not better performance.....the aa is definitely above and beyond the j&j and teardrop but not real noticebly.....don't even bother with a freak kit....big waste of money

The AA is one of the best barrels out there.

Now, if you have money to burn, you could get the freak back and All American tip, and you'd probably have the best barrel there is. However, that's all really un-neccessary. Be happy with the AA.

I have an AA, beautiful barrel..., I'm thinking of buying a blue Freak back for it, since I have shot one with a freak back, and it makes it so much better.

Just because you switch to a Freak back doesn't mean that you're going to get way better performance. Remember, it's all about ball to barrel match. So if you have a .691 insert in your Freak and are using .689 balls, then you're probably going to get the same accuracy as you would get with the AA. But if you had a .689 back when using .689 balls, then the accuracy is going to rock. So if you have the $ to by multiple inserts then I'd switch to the Freak back, while if you don't and are only going to buy 1 insert, then save your $ and stick with the AA. And the AA in my opinion is one of the best barrel you can get for under 100 bucks right now.
