bolt barrel trouble

the bolt keeps hitting the barrel.

does anyone know what the problem would be?

They're right. You gotta give us more if you want good advice. Are you sure its hitting the barrel or something else? Have you ever taken your gun apart? For that part, what gun have you got? Give us that info and maybe we can help.

You don't really provide enough info, but if it's an aftermarket barrel you might try o-rings of different thicknesses on the barrel as a spacer to keep it from screwing in as far.  (Ran into a similar issue with a J&J on a Mini-Lite a few years ago.)
