Okay, don't kill me if this has been suggested, because I read the FAQ and forum guidelines and I searched for it.

Has anyone ever modified an A-5 so that it runs on propane, because I like how propane is cheap, it doesn't freeze, and you get tons of shots, and I'd like to be able to use it in my A-5 so I can just spray and spray and spray

Thanks

Yes this si the 50th thread on this idea. NO YOU CANNOT DO THIS. When the C-3 uses propane it ignites and that is what proples the ball not the actual propane. It is not like CO2 or Nitro. And please do not try it.

The C3 is an entirely different mechanism than the A-5, not simply a different air source.  They are not interchangeable.

Get yourself a C3 so you can use a propane.
I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

I honestly don't care either way. Co2 works just fine and I get free fills so whatever.

The plus to tippmann making a propane powered marker was consistency and number of shots off of a tank.

Though the consistency is the same as HPA.

Language and sense of aesthetics are pretty unrelated. I consider myself pretty competent at use of the language, and I also feel that the C3 is hideously ugly. It somewhat resembles a blowdryer for your hair that crossbred with a ski pole, and then fell out of the ugly tree.

Actually, for that matter, the look is strikingly remniscent of a few of the brass eagle markers...

I have a cordless nail gun that uses Propane cartrages for pressure and it doesnt ignite the gas. It sparks every time i fire it and it never explodes, and i can drive a ton of nails with a cartrage the size of two D size batteries!
