Low Pressure Kit problem

Hello fellas,  I have had the low pressure kit now on my Model 98 with flatline for about a year.  When I first got it, it was great!  Shot a whole case without a single ball break.  Now, however, I'm having problems.  It seems that when I fire several rounds quickly, the rear bolt is not getting enough air and the bolt goes forward again and chops a ball.  What a mess!  I have tried to increase lubricity of the rear bolt with a drop or two of oil to no avail.  I have also tried to adjust the regulator to allow more air through and less air through.  I have also tried several different brands of paint (all premium brands)Also, when I take the hopper off and just dry fire, it never double fires.  Why would it do that?  (by the way, my detente' isn't in backwards)  I just can't take it anymore.  I'm about to sell the whole thing and buy a new Shocker but I just love my Flatline.  Can anyone help or should I just send it in to you guys (Tippmann) for servicing?

First, I'd replace the rear bolt's "O" ring. I'd lube that "O" ring with a little lithium grease and also grease the inside of the receiver where you see the rear bolt making contact. You might also look at the rear bolt itself and sand with very fine sand paper anywhere you see scuff marks from contact between the receiver and the bolt.

Also check to see that the sear is still sharp (not rounded off) and the notch in the rear bolt is also sharp with no rounded edge. If the rear bolt notch or the sear is worn, replace them both.

Also check to assure that the two screws that hold the power valve in place are tight and not stripped. Any looseness of those screws can reduce the gas output from the power valve. There may

And last, even though the detent is not in back wards when was the last time it was replaced? I replace mine every 2 to 3 months.

What kind of hopper are you using? Have you washed the hopper's feed tube? Residue from paintballs will coat the parts through which they pass and cause some sticking which may delay the drop of the next ball...particularly with a gravity feed.
