I'm not new but I didn't know where else I should put this. Anyway, I am a big fat guy, so any mask I get has to be absolutely fog proof. I also need a mask that is extremely comfortable, because we go paintballing about 2-3 times a month for about 8 hours at a time. I also need a mask with a great field of vision. So, please help me and tell me which you think is best. By the way, money is not a problem. Edited by TippmanHotshot |

Is there any way you can try these masks on? Maybe go to a pro-shop somewhere or find a friend who has one of them.
That will make your decision a lot easier. |

Profiler. HUGE field of vision, durable, sexy, and, unfortunately, not thermal. But I'm a fairly heavy breather, and I have yet to have a problem with fogging despite that. |

I've been playing for a little over 4 years and I've had the same mask
but different goggles every so often. They're JT Spectre if your
wondering and I think they are great for the price, I think I paid
about 25 at my local paintball store.
I don't really believe in paying 80 bucks for a mask when I could get a brand spankin new bolt for my gun with that money or something else. But thats my opinion ![]() Edited by BassMan |

Sorry, not to take over the thread dude, but, I was thinking about getting a Profiler, but then i saw the price. Is the Vantage just as good? I know it doesn't have as much vision, but to me that doesn't really matter. Money is kinda a prob, but i have the money. I just other stuff I could buy that i need. So, is the V-Force Vantage pretty good?

Nope, the Vantages don't have nearly the field of vision that the Profilers offer. They take a different lens, the lens from the older Armor masks. If price is an issue, I'd take a look at either the Sheild or Morph. Takes the same lens as the Profiler, but the frame set isn't as tight to the face.
Oh, for my vote up in the poll, Profiler. Pending getting my hands on a set of the new Vents and torture testing the heck out of 'em.... |

Not on the list but ty a Proto Switch. Although not a big fat guy, I
sewat like a pig when playing and have always had fogging problems
until I tried the one of these. Comfortable with excellent field of
view also. Price isn't bad either.

Yah get vforce. The way I see it is sure you can buy cheap goggles and then buy an upgrade for your gun, but if your mask is so fogged up you can't see, then no matter what kind of upgrade you got it won't make a bit of difference. |
