What is the highest velocity you have heard of on a paintball gun that wouldnt break the balls. And is there high power sniper rifles you can get. Also if any body knows how to mod a gun to shoot a high fps post it.

The maximum fps you should ever shoot is 300.

Oh my god.
Go to your dungeon and stay there. We don't need idiots like you sending people to the hospital and then giving this lovely sport a (worse) name.

An airsoft BB has less mass than a paintball.
You can shoot a fleck of dust at 4,000 fps and it wont hurt anyone, but if you shot a bowling ball at someone at 50 fps it would kill them.
And those lame ass sniper rifley things shoot 300 just like everything else.

But i mean having a a big game on a private field,And having a sniper at the other end of the field. So it would be good for the sniper to have a high fps to hit the enemy taget from far away.
Also speed ballers hit people from couple inches awy with hard paintballs that go 290-300 fps so geting hit from a distance would be the same if not less pain.
So can anyone answer my question.

That's not the point...
What if someone sneaks up on the guy trying to "snipe", and gets hit in the face at 500 fps from 10 feet away? Call the ambulance and summon the lawyers!
Moral: Just play the game like everyone else and act somewhat intelligently.

1) So what, airsoft weighs WAY WAY less, so there is less mass.
2) Less mass = doesnt hurt as much. For paintball, it hurts more, since there's more mass, you follow?
3) Any higher than 300 fps, and you will start to break peoples knuckles with a shot to their hand.
4) Goggles are only safe up to a certain point, dont be an idiot and go past them.
5) There are no snipers in paintball, dont get into it.

Wow man....
If you have a high velocity "sniper rifle" the ball would be rediculously innacurate, it would go way off course. Have you ever even played before? You should know how innacurate they are at any sort of high speed.
And we did answer your question with a big "dont bother, it's a dumb idea"

choopie is right... force = mass x velocity. so even though the airsoft rounds are fired at a higher velocity, the mass is so much less that it evens out...
and yes... the safety gear for paintball is rated at a certain limit... shooting over this limit can put people in danger... don't do it.
edit: haha... snipers would be in a closed fort... heh... i'd hate to be trapped in a fort the entire game...

you know what... fine... here ya go...
buy an adjustable output nitro tank and turn the pressure up.
turn your velocity screw all the way out...
buy a spring kit and put the most powerful spring in
buy an rva and turn it all the way up...
there ya go! with all those you'll never be able to play at an organized field legally, but you will be able to blind your friends! tell your friends to have fun losing their eyes!!!!

Ok, you are officially the stupidest person on this entire forum. I honestly cannot wait till one of you gets seriously hurt, or dies, and then you all cry and wonder what happened, it was supposed to be a safe sport.
Do everyone, and the sport of paintball a big favour and never pick up a gun again until you've learned better, we dont need idiots like this souring the reputation.
