I rock mine in the rain, but I don't think they're technically waterproof...like if you submerse one I think it's not a good idea, but it's pretty much water resistant as far as rain and stufff goes

I have a Mini. There are o-rings all over the thing. Pretty much anywhere that something could normally get in has an o-ring.

Exept where the plastic lense goes into the outside thing, rendering it un-waterproof.

Get a scuba light?  You can get a nice one for the same price as a mag light.  If mag lites were waterproof, wouldn't divers use them?  If you do get a scuba light, the more powerfull ones will burn out if you use them out of water.

Anything over a 2AA Maglite should be waterproof.

Why do you need a maglite under water? If your goin to use a flashlight under water get a dive light.

If your gettin a maglite get a rechargable one like the cops use, very expensive but I got one and LOVE it, its the most powerfull light I have exept my 2 1/2 million candle power spot light.

I shoot a Hoyt

I don't need it for underwater, I was just wondering because of all the o-rings.

I've held them underwater several times and nothing bad ever happened. I actually dropped one in a puddle and had to spend about 20 minutes looking for it.
