I have this barrel on my 98C. It is extremely accurate and the "shoot-through" cleaning works perfect. I accidently shot a ball with my plug in the barrel, so shell and paint were all over the inside of the barrel. I shot a couple of balls through the barrel and it was clean as new. I've matched this barrel up to high priced barrels and the J&J performs just as accurate, if not more accurate. For $35, you can't beat it!!!

I'd go with the CP One-Piece for the price range. They do some high quality honing on their barrels.
If you can spend the cash, though, I'd highly recommend the 2-piece All American. It's the best single-bore barrel for the 98 custom, hands down. |
