I'm thinking about buying the gta expansion chamber for my Custom Pro,
and I was wondering if the hose that comes with the expansion chamber
will be to long because the pro has a drop on it. Does anyone know?

Ya you could say it is a little long. On mine it is bent around and looks kind of like a backward S shape. It works fine for me. You can keep the hose or get a shorter one...i would just say keep it. I'll post a pic as soon as I can.

It's going to be a little long like Tippy said, but nothing to worry bout'. Just bend it and you'll be golden.

if you do go macroline, be careful, i hear that prolonged use of c02 with macroline can cause it to rupture, so just be careful

Ya and plus macroline i heard from ppl is too small for CO2 to go through nicely...and i bet even using any air source would rupture the hose...

...the worst thing that will happen with a macroline and CO2 is that the ends may not seal and you'll get a slight leak.
From my experience, it's just better to stick with the steel braided hose. And yes, it will have to bend, but is it really a big deal? If you can find a decent pro shop, they should sell steel braided hoses in different lengths. |
